The Collect

St John Baptist’s Day

Almighty God, by whose providence thy servant John Baptist was wonderfully born, and sent to prepare the way of thy Son our Saviour, by preaching of repentance; Make us so to follow his doctrine and holy life, that we may truly repent according to his preaching; and after his example constantly speak the truth, boldly rebuke vice, and patiently suffer for the truth’s sake; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen

Police Choir

Friday 24th September 2010 at 7.00 pm

The excellent Police Choir will be making a welcome return to the Church. Last year's event was so well received that we are delighted the Choir are returning to us. The variety of their performance will suit all audiences. Tickets available on the door.

Bell Ringing

The bells  are normally rung for every Sunday service after 9.00 am. However, the bells have now been removed for restoration and augmentation, so we are unable to ring until they are returned in October.

Practices are now held at Hacheston Church on saturday mornings from 9.00 to 10.30 am until the bells are returned. Ringers of all abilities, including beginners, are welcome to join us.
