New Ringing Gallery and Community Room
The new ringing gallery and Community Room is now complete - see photos below - and it will enable ringers to be part of the congregation and to take a full part in services and it will also be used as a community room/heritage room. We are extremely grateful to the many individuals who have contributed towards the cost of this new facility, as well as Awards for All for a major contribution towards the cost.
We will not be ringing from the new gallery just yet, though. The work on the bells themselves will not take place until later in 2010 and so the gallery will be first used as a ringing gallery in October 2010 when the bells will have been restored and replaced in the tower.
