Rev Lucas

 

Rev Francis Lucas was Rector of Campsea Ashe from 1906 to 1915. His father was Baronet of Ashtead, Surrey, where Francis was Rector before moving to the village. His Notes on Campsea Ashe is a beautifully handwritten book containing a history of the village and a personal diary of the Great War (click here to view).
